Sevierville is also the hometown of Grammy Award winning Dolly Parton. Stop by the courthouse in downtown Sevierville and have your picture made by Dolly’s statute.

 

Sevierville is famous for it’s shopping. There are a variety of galleries, boutiques, antique malls, flea markets, outdoor stores and much more. The famous Tanger outlet that has over 120 name brand outlets is the most popular. There is also the Scrapbook Superstore that has the largest scrapbook supply inventory in the U.S. The Bass Pro Outdoor World is a large shopping attraction as well.

 

One of the best ways to enjoy Sevierville is by experiencing the outdoors. The Great Smoky Mountains are practically Sevierville’s “backyard”, and is also the most visited national park. You can enjoy fishing…and Douglas Lake; a 30,400-acre lake filled with bass, crappie, walleye, and catfish is a great place for fishing in the Smokies.

If hiking interests you, there are over 800 miles of maintained trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, offering hikes for those seeking a strenuous trek or just a leisure walk. Sevierville also offers ATV riding, rafting, canoeing, and horseback riding. You can experience it all and have a wonderful time in the Smokies.

The new Sevierville Events Center at Bridgemont is state of the art! It has a 108,000 square foot Exhibit Hall and a 19,000 square foot Ball Room. It will have an 18-hole championship golf course along with indoor and outdoor water parks with new restaurants and shopping in the near future.
